Decorating for Christmas

Last weekend, we started putting up our Christmas decorations. We got everything up but the trees and we finished with those one evening after homework was completed and instruments had been practiced.

Every year, Ryan gets a new ornament. It represents something from that year - whether it be a favorite toy or activity, one to represent the new dog that we got that year. Each one has had a meaning for that year. So, this year, he got a French Horn ornament since this is the year he started playing that instrument.

Checking out the box of ornaments to go on the tree:
Ryan took this picture of me decorating the tree that we put up in the front room:
Adding more ornaments:
Taking a break for some cuddle time with Sam:

A tree full of memories:
A snowman collection. Now this is the ONLY snow that I like - FAKE!
The entertainment center all decked out with Santa's and Coca-Cola:
Decorating the tree in the kitchen. This tree is filled with our Coke ornaments, dalmatian ornaments and anything that is red, white and black:

Finishing it off with the red star:
Both trees are decorated, now it's on to all of our other fun holiday activities:

Yes, it just kinda happened. It's really fun to have two different themes going on. You will get to see them when (if?) you are coming on New Year's Eve. Yes, we miss you guys! It's been a long time since Halloween!!! Zoolights very soon!!
